Our Lineage
World-Class Instruction
Our instructors are proud members of the Next Level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association, founded by Professor Tony Eduardo Hoerhann—a highly accomplished competitor and 5th-degree black belt under Master Rilion Gracie.
Rilion Gracie, the youngest son of Grandmaster Carlos Gracie Sr., is a direct link to the origins of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and one of its most technical representatives. Through him, Professor Tony also carries the legacy of the legendary Gracie family, having trained closely with icons such as Renzo, Ralph, and Royce Gracie.
This authentic lineage ensures that every student at Next Level receives world-class instruction rooted in the original techniques, values, and philosophy passed down through generations.

Next Level Jiu-Jitsu Sherman is proud to officially announce our Grand Opening Seminar with the legendary Royce Gracie.
On February 15th at 2:00 PM, we will be hosting one of the most influential martial artists in history — the man who introduced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the world stage and forever changed combat sports.
Royce is not only a pioneer of our art; he is a personal friend of Next Level Jiu-Jitsu and a personal friend of mine. Having him here for our opening is an honor and a milestone for our school and our community in Sherman.
This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a true icon.
